Mayor Curran Takes a (Few) Dunks, Trustee Becker Shows His Form at OLP Carnival

An early fall tradition of the Village of Lynbrook is the annual Our Lady of Peace Carnival. Residents, state and local legislators and business leaders of Lynbrook come together for three days of fun, carnival skill games, exciting rides and tasty food.
Hundreds of families attended the official ribbon-cutting of the Carnival along with Sr. Mary Dowden, Principal of Our Lady of Peace School and Rev. William G. Breslawski, Pastor; Mayor Brian Curran and Trustees Alan Beach, Hilary Becker and Michael Hawxhurst; Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony Santino and Assemblyman Robert Barra.
In addition to the fun rides, carnival games and tasty foods, Mayor Curran took his fair share of dunks and Trustee Becker showed that he still has fine form to toss a ball.
