Community Spirit Award Winners Honored by New York Mets During Lynbrook Community Night

More than 100 Lynbrook residents, Lynbrook Little League Baseball players and officials joined by Mayor Brian Curran and his children attended the New York Mets' annual Lynbrook Community Night celebration held recently. The evening included a special presentation at home plate to the recipients of the 2009 Lynbrook Community Spirit Award. This year's recipients are (L to R) Lynbrook Fire Department Chief Kevin Bien; Joe Sullivan, Peak Performance; Lynbrook Trustee Hilary Becker; George Mcclosky, Perfect Photo; need name of person/title; Mary Malloy, editor of The Village Herald; and Police Officer Brian Cunningham. The New York Mets select the recipients of the Community Service Award from a list of residents provided by Lynbrook Little League.
