Ladies Night Out to Show Their Leadership Skills

Daisy, Junior, Cadette and Ambassador Troops of the ELLM Association (EAST ROCKAWAY, LYNBROOK, LAKEVIEW & MALVERNE) gathered Friday, March 6, for a night out at Village Hall to show that they have what it takes to fulfill the functions and responsibilities of Mayor Brian Curran, Deputy Mayor William Hendrick, Village Trustee Alan Beach and former Trustees Richard Clifford and David Penso and Village Administrators.

The second phase of Lynbrook Government Night 2009 allowed the Girl Scout Troops to demonstrate that "they too are future leaders for the families, communities and businesses that they will be called on to lead in the not too distant future," said Mayor Curran (in picture three with his daughter Isabella, a Daisy Troop).
