Communications Commissioner - Michael Shindler

The Village of Lynbrook operates wireless, voice and data communications systems in the Police, Fire, DPW, Building and Recreation Departments.

The Office of Emergency Management also operates an AM Radio Station at 1620 KH on the AM dial, in addition to it's village-wide, and county-wide radio systems.

A village government cable-TV, station is also are also part of the communications systems in the village, as well as its own Data Network and computer system. These communications systems are administered by the Commissioner of Communications, Michael Shindler.
