LEGAL NOTICE

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook will hold a Public Hearing to consider the amendment of Village Code Chapter 252 (Zoning) at Article VII A. (Regulations for Arts and Cultural Overlay District) at §252-46.1 (Legislative Intent and Objectives) and §252-46.3 (Permitted Uses in Authorized District) to include mixed use multiple residences as a permitted use in the Arts and Overlay District; and 252-46.2 (Areas of Applicability) to extend the boundaries of said District, and under SEQRA Regulations, to determine whether the proposed code amendment would constitute a significant negative impact on the environment; said Public Hearing will be held at 8:00 PM on December 11,  2017 at the Village Hall, One Columbus Drive, Lynbrook, New York 11563.

All interested persons will be heard during the Public Hearing at the time and place aforementioned.

LEGAL NOTICE

 

The Village of Lynbrook will receive a Request for Proposal for the following:

 

TRAFFIC CAMERA SYSTEM FOR STREET INTERSECTIONS, LYNBROOK, NY

 

on or before Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:00 P.M., at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

 

Specifications may be obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, One Columbus Drive, Lynbrook, New York, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, and on the Village Website. 

 

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids if they are not in the best interest of the Village.

SPECIAL ELECTION NOTICE –

INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF LYNBROOK

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Inc. Village of Lynbrook at a Special Board Meeting of October 23, 2017, duly adopted the following RESOLUTION pursuant to the provisions of Article 15 of the New York State Election Law:

 

RESOLVED, that the Village of Lynbrook will hold a Special Village Election on Tuesday, the 20th day of March 2018, for Mayor and One (1) Trustee for a term of One (1) year.

 

RESOLVED, that the Polling Place shall be the Recreation Center at Greis Park, 55 Wilbur Street, Lynbrook and the hours during which the polls shall be open shall be from 7:00 o'clock A.M. until 9:00 o'clock P.M.

 

RESOLVED, that the Village of Lynbrook be one (1) Election District for the Special Village Election and for all future general and special Village Elections, until this resolution is modified, amended, revoked, or rescinded.

 

RESOLVED, that the boundaries of the aforementioned designated Village Election District is coterminous with the corporate limits of the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook.

 

RESOLVED, that the registered voter list be obtained from the Nassau County Board of Elections and there will not be a Village voter registration day.

    

RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk shall cause proper notice of the foregoing resolution to be published and posted as required by law.
