Message from Lynbrook
Mayor William J. Hendrick
Welcome to the Village of Lynbrook Website. This
site has been designed so you can learn all
about our wonderful village, located in the
heart of Nassau County's south shore on Long
Island.
We request that you browse this site to get an
overview of all the great things that make our
Village a wonderful place to live, work and
play. We have included information about our
downtown shopping, great restaurants, as well as
our parks and recreation facilities. These
assets, as well as our full time police force,
our fully staffed volunteer fire department, and
our Department of Public Works are some of the
reasons why over 20,000 people reside here.
As your Mayor my board and I will be busily
working on new projects and continue to improve
projects that have already been initiated. Our
goal is to maintain Lynbrook as the finest
village on Long Island. I also hope that the
residents continue to visit this website
regularly so they can be updated on all the
events and news of the village. It's wonderful
to see the Village residents take advantage of
all the special recreational events and year
round resources available to them.
In closing, I want to thank the Village
residents for allowing me the honor of serving
as their Mayor and hope they can help me make
Lynbrook a wonderful place to live.
